NYC Luxury Transport (“NLT”)

NYC Luxury Transport is a licensed livery service based in New York City. By accessing NLT’s website, carservicenyc.us, and utilizing our services through booking or purchasing, the user (“Client”) agrees to be bound by our terms of service (“TS”), website acceptable use policy (“AUP”), and privacy policy (“PP”). Rates, Fees, and Surcharges

A 7% fuel charge is applied to the base fare for all services. For hourly bookings, charges accrue from the moment the vehicle departs from the NLT facility until its return, with a minimum charge of two hours on weekdays and three hours on weekends. Time increments are rounded up to the nearest half-hour. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing by NLT.

Gratuity

A 20% gratuity for the chauffeur is automatically added to the base fare.

Wait Time

For point-to-point services, a wait time fee of $7 per five-minute increment is charged after a seven-minute grace period. For airport services, a 30-minute grace period for domestic flights and a 60-minute grace period for international flights are allowed. Bus schedules are strictly adhered to from the scheduled pickup time.

Additional Charges

Clients requesting limousines or buses will find charges such as two-way tolls, parking fees, and airport fees itemized on their invoice. Additional costs may include charges for cellular phone usage.

Airport Surcharge

An airport greeter service is available at Logan International Airport for a fee of $45. For pickups between 12:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. in sedans or SUVs, an additional $25 surcharge applies.

Cancellation Policy

Sedan and SUV reservations must be canceled at least 12 hours before the scheduled pickup time for local NYC trips, and 24 hours in advance for trips outside NYC.

Reservations for Sprinters, Mini Buses, and Coach Buses must be canceled at least 7 days in advance to avoid penalties.

Referral Fees

Should NLT need to subcontract to an affiliated company, the terms will be disclosed. For more details, contact NLT directly.

Changes and Late Requests

Changes to reservations within the 12-hour (local) or 24-hour (out-of-state) window may incur additional charges.

Same-Day Service Fee

A $50 fee applies to all same-day service requests to accommodate urgent bookings.

Billing

Charges are billed to the credit card linked to the client’s account upon completion of the service or in accordance with the cancellation policy. NLT accepts American Express, Discover Card, MasterCard, and Visa.

No-Show Fees

A no-show fee equivalent to the scheduled trip cost, applicable service fees, wait time, and a 20% gratuity will be charged if the passenger fails to meet at the designated location.

Holiday Surcharge

A $40 holiday surcharge applies on major holidays including New Year’s Day, Presidents Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Additional Terms

Event services are billed at prevailing hourly rates from the time NLT personnel and/or vehicles leave the facility until they return.

Damage and Liability

Clients are responsible for any damages caused to the vehicles by themselves or their party. Standard fees apply, with additional charges for significant damage or cleaning.

Best Efforts and Limitation of Liability

NLT will endeavor to provide services as requested but is not liable for delays or failures beyond reasonable control, including weather or road conditions. NLT is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.

Client Behavior

Inappropriate behavior, including smoking or alcohol consumption, may result in service termination by the driver.

Website Acceptable Use

Unauthorized access, security breaches, and spam are prohibited. Intellectual property rights must be respected.

Changes to Terms

NLT reserves the right to modify these terms, with changes taking effect upon posting. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the new terms.
